Ahead of submitting the planning application, a series of public events took place at the Danderhall Community Centre, Newtonchurch Road, Danderhall, EH22 1LU.
The first event dates were held in February 2015.
If you were unable to attend these events the exhibition boards can be seen by clicking here.
A second series of events took place at the Danderhall Community Centre in March 2015 to feedback on issues that arose from the first consultation events above and from further separate consultation undertaken with the Community Councils of Craigmillar, Danderhall and Musselburgh. Copies of the exhibition boards can be found by clicking here.
The consultation events and meetings have helped FCC Environment shape their planning application to ensure where possible the views of the local community have been taken on board. The Planning Application has now been submitted and a copy of the full application and the Non Technical summary can be found on the planning application page.
In addition, you can view a copy of the Planning Application Consultation report (PAC), which summarises the consultation undertaken by FCC Environment and this has also been submitted as part of the planning application.
Subject to a successful determination of the application FCC will be looking to establish a Community Liaison Group to ensure the Local Community are kept abreast of the development. Subject to timings on the determination of the application FCC will liaise with all Community Councils and local residents to establish this group. The Group would include attendance as required from the Planning Department, SEPA and any other relevant parties involved in the project development.
FCC Environment will continue to keep the local community updated on the application process through regular updates on our website. Should you have any queries on the submission or general aspects of the development, then the contact details can be found by clicking here, where a member of the FCC Environment team will be more than happy to assist.
